TWSU Instrument Kit

Technology Will Save Us

The Theramin is a fascinating electronic instrument; its distinctive buzz generated by the graceful movement of the player's arm through the air. Now imagine a Theramin from the future...

TWSUs Instrument Kit creates a musical device that is played by the interruption of two beams of light; with the rhythmic movement of your hands (or anything else for that matter) you can control its volume and pitch. Build it in under an hour and you're on your way to a spectacular neon orchestra.

Quick to assemble, this kit is also a great introduction to soldering and is based around a 556 Integrated Circuit chip - one of the most common components used in day-to-day technology.

Perfect for beginners and ages 10 and up.
