What do gemstones and cocktails have in common? A lot more than you'd think. To find out, come along to this special lecture from Gemmologist Rowena Murray at The Old Shoreditch Station, where she'll be blending the science of gemmology and the art of mixology, with mouthwatering results!

Rowena Murray is a jewellery designer and gemmologist. She trained at the Royal College of Art and the Gemological Institute of America. Alongside her own collections, Rowena has consulted for major brands including Accessorize and Van Cleef & Arpels, for whom she developed the 'Une Journee a Paris' bijoux collection. She has also been involved in designing watches for Audemars Piguet, Links of London and Van Cleef & Arpels. Based in London, Rowena offers a consultancy service to brands and individuals on all matters related to design and gemmology.
This lecture is held in The Old Shoreditch Station on Thursday the 18th of December 2014 from 19:00 till 20:00 and is part of a collaboration between JaguarShoes Collective and The Saturday Market Project that sees SMP popping up at this location for the whole of December 2014.
