FILM: The Putter

Follow 'Putter' Cliff Denton through the process of making scissors in this beautiful film by Shaun Bloodworth. Cliff works at Ernest Wright & Sons of Sheffield which is one of the last remaining scissor hand-manufacturers.

Ernest Wright & Son has been hand-making fine scissors in Sheffield, England since 1902. In 2014, they did a live demonstration of their skills at our London Design Festival event.
