Pair of Round Top LED Lights - 5mm

5mm LEDs are the most popular size; they are small, versatile, vibrant and easy to use. LED is short for light-emitting diode. LED's have become a common component of our electronic lives, yet the science behind them is still fascinating. This How Stuff Works article is a great read about how they work.

Our LEDs are ultra bright with a clear lens color and emit 12,000 - 14,000 mcd (millicandela). An MCD is 1/1000 of a candela which is a unit of light energy of a single color and in a single direction.

Five colors are available:

  • Blue
  • Green
  • Red
  • White
  • Yellow

Each pack comes with 2 of each color.
