Shop People is a non-profit Industrial arts community workspace. This membership-based organization, located in Southeast Portland, provides shared tools and work space for craftspeople, artisans, makers, inventors, contractors, DIYers and creative people. Their goal is to cultivate creativity & innovation in a shop environment and to bring people together to provide a creative environment of shared space, tools and knowledge of art & craft. The organization also offers design classes and workshops. With over 15,000 square feet of shop space, they are equipped for woodworking, metalworking & welding, jewellers metalworking, an area for pottery work, as well as storage for small, medium & large projects.
